A word from the Awakenings director .......

Hi to all those who know Awakenings.

My name is Jacinda O’Sullivan and I have recently been appointed as Festival Director for the Awakenings Festival. It is great to be in Horsham with its distinct seasons, clear air and many smiling faces. I have come from working in theatre with Desert Education arts touring program, Westside Circus Scald Physical Theatre and years of community development.

Already I have heard heartening stories and met many fantastic people who I am excited to be working with. I am ready to embrace the challenge of Festival Director of such an extraordinary celebration and look forward to being part of a vibrant team.

Awake in ‘08 is my mantra knowing that the journey I am embarking on will inspire, develop and motivate me as is the experience of anyone who engages in Awakenings.

See you in 2008.
